Credentials: Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), Member of ASITA (Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies), 20+ years in luxury hospitality management with Aman Resorts and Four Seasons.

Bio: A native of Lombok with an international career, Banyu returned home with a vision to create a travel company that reflects the soul of his island while delivering a level of service that rivals the world’s best. His deep connections within the local community and his understanding of the global luxury market give Mandalika Luxury its unique edge. Banyu personally oversees our key partnerships and ensures that every aspect of the company aligns with our core values of sustainability and authenticity.

Sari Dewi

Head of Operations & Guest Relations

Credentials: Certified Travel Associate (CTA), Diploma in Tourism Management from STP Bali, fluent in English, Indonesian, and the local Sasak dialect.

Bio: Sari is the organizational heart of Mandalika Luxury. With over 15 years of experience managing logistics for high-end travel and MICE events in Indonesia, she excels at flawless execution. Sari manages our on-the-ground teams, from drivers and guides to villa staff, ensuring every detail of our clients’ itineraries is perfectly coordinated. Her intimate knowledge of Lombok’s geography and culture allows her to solve any challenge with grace and efficiency, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for our guests.

Lead Experience Curator (Marine & Surf)

Credentials: ISA (International Surfing Association) Level 2 Certified Surf Coach, PADI Divemaster, Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor.

Bio: Originally from Australia, Kai has spent the last decade surfing and exploring the waters of the Indonesian archipelago. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of South Lombok’s surf breaks—from the gentle peelers of Selong Belanak to the challenging barrels of Desert Point. Kai designs our marine and surf experiences, personally vetting our boat captains and surf instructors to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. Whether you’re a beginner looking for your first wave or an expert seeking a secret spot, Kai curates the ultimate ocean adventure.

Lalu Muhammad

Lead Experience Curator (Culture & Community)

Credentials: Respected elder from a local Sasak community, official guide certified by HPI (Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia).

Bio: Lalu provides the cultural soul of our journeys. He was born and raised in a village near Kuta and possesses a deep, lived understanding of Sasak traditions, history, and social etiquette. He guides our cultural immersion programs, ensuring they are respectful, authentic, and mutually beneficial for both our guests and the local communities. Lalu’s insights allow our clients to experience the real Lombok, far beyond the tourist trails, fostering genuine connections and a deeper appreciation for the island’s heritage.

Credentials: MBA in Hospitality from EHL (Lausanne), former Quality Manager for Forbes Travel Guide.

Bio: With a meticulous eye for detail and an uncompromising standard for quality, Isabelle is responsible for our portfolio of partner properties and service providers.
